The Wharf Ramp and Accessible Toilets 2012

Built by Urunga Sail Training Club for our Sailability and other Friends with limited Abilities

There were many Hands on Deck on the first day to help get it all going.

We thought the “OLD” concrete wall would be a Push Over. No such luck! We now think it was probably constructed at the time of the new road bridge over the Kalang using its left over concrete. It was like trying to cut through Titanium!!!

Many Many Thanks To Terry Timms Concreting of Urunga (and Ripper) for  kindly donating their time and expertise to get the job done in such a professional manner.

Just Beautiful. Yes, We are organising a Railing at the bottom. So now all you “Bik’n Wheelies” and others CAN get to the waters edge like you have been wanting.

The NEW Toilets. When we discovered the price of the “BLUE” toilet seats as listed in AS1428 we decided we needed to improvise slightly. Hope you like it. The Grab Rails for the Ambulant toilet (with the “blue”  seat) will be installed shortly. Yes we DO have a Baby Change Table. And a coat of paint to go on here and there. Would you like to come and do it?
