Boats in our fleet that require restoration:
303 Access Dinghy.
Wyn Taylor was donated to the club in 2012. She has all her rigging, sails and fittings.
She came to the club from Southport QLD.
Although Wyn is fully operational, we really need her to be converted to fully electronic operation with a remote joystick so she can be used by both left and right handed persons with disabilities as we have several sailors wanting to get back into it.
She has all her rigging, sails and fittings and is a great and stable little boat for beginners.
Nyssa was built by X & Y from Nana Glen in NSW as a tender for their yacht many years ago. After their yacht was sold, she has ben stored at Nana Glen and was donated to the club in 2012.
Although Nyssa is fully operational, she needs a good sanding and a lick of paint.
3.7mtr Aquanaut (Father & Son)
Kali was donated to the club in 2010. She has all her rigging, sails and fittings. She suffered water damage in the 2009 floods and is in need of some TLC to restore her to her former glory.
It is believed she was built in Bellingen in the early 70’s. Any history about this boat would be greatly appreciated.
Kali needs her topsides removed and replaced. New 75 mm plywood re enforcing strip inside & out at her sheerstrake and a couple of holes patched. A coat of paint will then bring her back to life as an active member of the club.
4.9mtr plywood Lazy E.
She has all her rigging, sails and fittings and would make a great trainer for the club.
The Laze E is on long-term loan to the club.
This boat needs some serious repairs. It will be a long-term project to get her back on the water.
